Who Is Elijah is consistently see on wedding days as a brides choice of scent. Do you find their is a fave most brides choose for their wedding day?
I still can’t believe people are choosing my fragrances to wear on one of their most special days! NOMAD for the brides is very popular – and MORNING AFTER has been a popular choice since launching in February for the grooms! We are launching two new fragrances in July that I believe are INCREDIBLE wedding days scents. If I were to choose again for my wedding day I would reach for NOMAD & then our two new scents. My husband would wear NOMAD, MUSE or MORNING AFTER!
How on earth did you create such a long lasting scent! Do you feel brides need to reapply their perfume again throughout the day?
Thank you! Long lasting fragrances are a non-negotiable for our perfumes. Our fragrances are highly concentrated, meaning we use a lot of the oils, and less alcohol! If you pick a fragrance that lasts on your skin, You shouldn’t need to reapply.
If someone were to be buying a Who is Elijah perfume for the groom - what would be your recommendation?
NOMAD, MORNING AFTER or MUSE! So sexy on a man – and there is something about the male skin with these fragrances, they make them even stronger!
Morning to Night - what’s YOUR day on a plate when it comes to Who is Elijah and do you change from AM to PM?
My days are quite hectic. I have two babies, George is 4 & Pippa is 18 months, so my day usually starts at 5:30 am – or 7am if Pippa decides to sleep in! Mornings are a rush, breakfast & kindy drop off. I am in the office between 8:30-9am and leave at around 4:30pm to pick up the kids. In the 8 or so hours I am at work, I wear many hats. From customer service, marketing, social media, product development, finance I am involved in every area of the business, often I get to the end of the day and wonder if I even got any work done! Lately, we have been all hands on deck fulfilling the big retailer order we are launching with this month – it was a lot!! Once the kids are in bed, it is my time to watch TV and zone out OR I need to be online to Zoom with international partners.
Your journey is unbelievably inspiring! What would you say has been your biggest career highlight with Who is Elijah in the past 12 months?
Ohh there are so many!! We are launching with one of Australia’s biggest retailers on the 16th June – we haven’t announced yet! We also have some HUGE retailers in the UK that we are getting close to launching with. I still do a happy dance inside when I see a customer purchase on our website. Every sale and choice to wear one of my fragrances is still a pinch me!
